Annie Barber

Head of Evidence and Learning
Annie works to embed evidence and learning across everything we do at CAF to drive solutions for clean air for all as fast as possible.

Annie is a specialist in Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning (MEL) and impact assessment. She has spent the last 12 years building MEL systems for international and domestic organisations and programmes, including the International Rescue Committee and the Ethical Trading Initiative. Annie is comfortable with both quantitative and qualitative approaches and has worked with a variety of methods from child-friendly participatory methodologies to large-scale randomised control trials. She believes passionately in the importance of building a culture of learning and engaging rights holders in evaluation processes.

Annie holds an MSc in International Development from the University of Bath.

Why Annie works for Clean Air Fund:

Air pollution cuts across so many crucial agendas, including climate and health. I can’t think of a more important issue to work on as we fight to prevent full climate catastrophe. I believe evaluations need to be part of the solution and am incredibly excited to join CAF.
