Reecha is Head of India Programme and also works on campaigns across the Clean Air Fund’s geographies.
Prior to joining the Clean Air Fund, she developed the strategy for and managed staff to deliver projects and campaigns for Purpose’s office in India. Reecha has overseen many successful air quality campaigns, including the #MyRightToBreathe campaign in Delhi, 100% UP campaign in Uttar Pradesh and the 100% Bihar campaigns on promotion of renewable energy.
Reecha has twelve years’ background in programme development and management as part of the Asia Foundation and the United Nations. At the UN, based in New York, Geneva, South Sudan, and New Delhi, she ran programmes on conflict and disaster prevention, developing and implementing global advocacy campaigns like Stop Rape Now and One Billion Rising.
As well as working directly in air quality, she has developed campaigns for many relevant fields including human rights and labour rights, women and gender equality, and child protection. She is also a founding partner of a film production company in Delhi called Jamun.
