Shirin is currently an Associate at On Purpose, a year long leadership programme that helps talented professionals transition into purpose-led careers. Shirin is a qualified solicitor, having started her career at an international law firm and more recently working in-house for a high growth biotechnology company. Her passion for making a difference has been demonstrated through a number of voluntary roles, in particular as the cofounder of a grassroots community organisation for South Asian women in the UK, which she has led for the last 8 years.
Prior to transitioning to a career in law, Shirin studied Philosophy, Politics and Economics at the University of Warwick.
Why Shirin works for Clean Air Fund
Air pollution affects us all, and particularly impacts those living in low and middle income countries. I am excited to be part of an ambitious and diverse organisation tackling this issue on a global scale to hopefully bring about a fairer world where we can all live healthily.
