
As Head of Strategic Communications, Amy leads on strategy for raising our voice publicly, working closely with advocacy colleagues, shaping our key messages to ensure they land with the right audiences and that our insights, reports and perspectives cut through to those who need to receive them.
She advises and supports strategic partners such as grantees and funders to amplify the impact of their communications. She oversees content development and ensures high standards for our channels, supports our portfolio communications needs, advises on reputational risk and ensures cross-cutting initiatives such as Breathe Cities and Super Pollutants have the right communications approach and their outputs form part of an integrated communications strategy.
In her previous role, Amy was Associate Director at BB Partners, a strategic advisory firm. She led teams supporting organisations across climate, gender and global health including The Equality Fund, Co-Impact, The Lancet, The END Fund and The Global Fund.
Prior to this, she led external relations for the NGO Global Health Partnerships. She has led communications teams at the UN Foundation and ODI Global, and began her career at the World Health Organization.
Amy is passionate about broadening access to the development sector and is a facilitator at InvestIN Education. She previously served on the Advocacy Steering Group for the International Broadcasting Trust and sat on Action for Global Health’s Advisory Committee. She holds a politics degree from the University of Cambridge.
