Fernando Tartaglia

Analyst
Fernando supports projects and partnerships across Europe. His work focuses on the intersection of energy systems, climate, and equity.

Before joining Clean Air Fund, Fernando worked in the renewable energy sector as a geothermal engineer at Enel Green Power, supporting the operation and maintenance of geothermal power plants. He later specialised in global energy transition and governance in France, focusing on just transition in the Global South, as well as clean cooking and sustainable energy systems in Europe and East Africa.

Fernando holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Energy Engineering and a postgraduate Master’s degree in Global Energy Transition and Governance. Outside of work, he enjoys travelling, spending time in nature, and exploring art and different cultures.

Why Fernando works for Clean Air Fund

I believe the energy transition cannot be separated from questions of equity, health, and human dignity. What motivates me is the possibility of contributing to solutions that are not only technically effective, but also meaningful for the communities most affected by environmental and social challenges.
