Joanna Dove

Analyst
Joanna supports the development and delivery of programmes and leads grantee coordination within Clean Air Fund's Health portfolio.

Before joining the Clean Air Fund, Joanna built a strong foundation in social impact and international development through her work on an agriculture-nutrition project in Ghana, where she focused on child nutrition, community engagement and strategic communications. During this time, she gained hands-on experience collaborating with local partners to support families’ health and wellbeing, and developed a deep appreciation for the intersection between environmental conditions, food systems and public health.

She has also contributed to international programmes advancing equity and rights for street-connected children, supporting initiatives that sought to remove barriers to education, improve access to essential health services, and promote the protection of children’s human rights globally. These experiences strengthened her commitment to inclusive policymaking and reinforced the importance of ensuring that vulnerable communities are not left behind.

Joanna holds a degree in International Development with Politics from the University of East Anglia, where she focused on social justice and the political dimensions of sustainable development.

Why Joanna works for Clean Air Fund:

Driven by a passion for policy, advocacy and human rights, I believe that access to clean air is a fundamental right and an essential part of building healthier, more equitable societies. I am excited to be working in a field that champions meaningful, long-term positive change.
