Saskia is a Portfolio Manager and leads the strategy for the Clean Air Fund’s health-related activities. She also manages the programme development and delivery of the South and Eastern Europe region.
She has over twelve years of experience working with government institutes, funders, social enterprises and NGOs in countries such as Ecuador, Nepal and Zimbabwe as well as the UK and the Netherlands. She has worked on human health, cutting-edge research grant schemes, international development and organisational capacity building, with the aim of building evidence and competence on environment and health, and enabling research to action.
Saskia graduated with a degree in Biomedical Sciences from the VU University in the Netherlands and obtained her training in Public Health and Control of Infectious Disease at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
