Yara’s background is in international development, human rights advocacy, and project coordination. Prior to joining Clean Air Fund, she worked with Amnesty International’s Crisis Response Programme, supporting global advocacy and research on human rights crises. She previously worked on international development and donor-funded programmes, coordinating projects, partnerships, and financial oversight across multiple countries. Her work focuses on evidence-based advocacy and collaboration to strengthen programmes addressing inequality, social justice, and sustainability.
She holds a dual Master’s degree in Public Policy and Public Administration from Sciences Po Paris and the London School of Economics, and a BA in International Development and Middle Eastern Studies from SOAS, University of London.
Outside of work, Yara enjoys being outdoors, spending time in nature, and dancing, bringing people together.
Why Yara works for Clean Air Fund
Access to clean air should be a universal right, not a privilege. Air pollution disproportionately affects the most vulnerable communities, making it both a health crisis and a social justice issue. I’m proud to support the advocacy team at the Clean Air Fund in advancing action to make clean air a global priority.
