Zuriel Naiker

Zuriel is Managing Director, Sales at Marsh McLennan in London, United Kingdom. Prior to his current role, he led Marsh’s Risk Management Segment in Africa, which provides industry specific support to Africa’s largest and most complex enterprises in the areas of risk, people, and strategy. In this role he advised multinational businesses on critical matters relating to risk exposure.

The early majority of his career was spent in underwriting where he led the ground-up establishment of an innovative commercial insurance business within Discovery Limited (Vitality in the UK), and held various leadership roles within a multinational insurer, Hollard.

Zuriel is a Fellow of the Insurance Institute of South Africa and a past President of the Insurance Institute of Gauteng. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of the Witwatersrand, an MBA from the Gordon Institute of Business Science, and a Master of Science in Fintech from New York University. Zuriel was selected as part of the World Economic Forum Young Global Leaders of 2022; a diverse community of leaders committed to shaping a more inclusive and sustainable future, and was invited to join the Young Presidents Association (YPO) in 2023.
