This grant enables Our Kids’ Climate to strategically scale effective grassroots clean air campaigns across its global network, embedding child-focused messaging into climate narratives and mobilising parent-led movements to drive policy change.

This is a pilot project introducing the topic of air quality to the investment sector. It includes increasing investors' awareness of the financial risks associated with air pollution.

This project will produce a report making the case for action on tropospheric ozone to be launched at COP29. It will also deliver a longer-term roadmap for engagement beyond COP from 2025-2030

HabitatMap, a nonprofit air quality sensor maker committed to open data and grassroots action, will use this grant to strengthen its community outreach and better understand how its sensors support local environmental campaigns.

SPARTAN calibrates satellite data used in health impact assessments and epidemiological studies informing PM2.5 exposure standards. This grant will improve SPARTAN’s capacity to generate tailored air quality data for low-capacity, data-poor settings.

Support for the WHO in organising this global conference aimed at securing strong commitments governments and city leaders to address air pollution. Including support enabling attendance from senior government representatives, researchers and campaigners from the Global South and for WHO to synthesise the latest evidence of health impacts of air pollution and benefits of air quality solutions.

In partnership with the Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI), this project will develop black carbon, NOx, SOx and PM 2.5 calculation guidelines for logistics chains (Global Logisitics Emissions Council framework), so that logistics companies better report emissions across their operations.

By engaging respiratory healthcare professionals and patient advocates, this project aims to raise awareness of air pollution’s impact on lung health and mobilise support for a life-course approach to lung disease prevention.

To tackle key scientific barriers in addressing black carbon, this project will produce a scientific review, evaluate emission inventories and analyse black carbon representation in climate models. The project aims to improve climate impact estimates and build scientific consensus to inform policymaking and international processes.

This project seeks to strengthen paediatric associations in South Africa, Nigeria and Nepal to highlight and address severe air pollution risks for babies and children, coordinated by the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH).
