This grant enables Our Kids’ Climate to strategically scale effective grassroots clean air campaigns across its global network, embedding child-focused messaging into climate narratives and mobilising parent-led movements to drive policy change.

This project will provide evidence of increased demand for clean air from Black communities, plus raise awareness amongst the public and parliamentarians about the intersectionality between environmental justice, race equity and clean air.

This Breathe Cities project seeks to increase awareness and understanding of air pollution and its impacts on health for youth (13-25) in South Africa. The project includes training young people on air quality issues & policies, and then support them lead air quality awareness campaigns in their own communities.

This Breathe Cities project will undertake a national investment case to reduce ambient air pollution and improve health in Ghana. UNDP is uniquely placed to collect new data and guidance on air pollution and health, and their impacts to poverty, inequalities, and exclusion. 

This project aims at providing clear and solid evidence on the co-benefits for acting on air quality and climate, promoting policy measures that consider multiple benefits of different technologies, techniques and behavioural changes.

A collection of air pollution photographs, free for non-profit, educational and editorial use. The over 200 photographs depict air pollution and the communities most affected in Indonesia, Poland, South Africa and the UK.

To contribute to the Government of India's Principal Scientific Advisor’s vision to develop a scale-enabling international Centre of Excellence (CoE) that can translate promising sustainable technologies and business models, into day-to-day products and services, that are used and accessed by millions, globally.

Build widespread acknowledgement of the impact of air pollution on categories of essential workers whose work exposes them to such vulnerability, ensuring that solutions to air pollution are not only technically sound but also equitable and inclusive.

In collaboration with community representatives, civil society partners and municipal authorities, create a roadmap for a heathier and cleaner community environment in the Fakulteta neighborhood by 2025.

To develop an enthusiastic core of Councillors and MPs who will champion clean air policies to their colleagues.
