This project will develop a data management system that ‘puts compelling air quality data in the right hands,' creating a standardised, scalable solution for tracking air pollution.

This project will produce the world's first global dataset on emissions sources—including PM (with possible black and organic carbon speciation), SOx, NOx, NMVOCs, CO, and NH3— empowering corporations, cities, and governments to track and reduce emissions.

This grant aims to improve EU ecodesign regulations for solid fuel appliances used in residential heating, focusing on reducing black carbon and other harmful pollutants. A key outcome includes building a broad stakeholder coalition advocating for stricter Ecodesign standards.

This project focuses on analysing the health effects of black carbon in Sweden and Denmark. The aim is to strengthen the evidence base on black carbon's health impacts, contributing to an updated WHO systematic review.

This two year project aims to raise awareness of the importance of black carbon mitigation in China’s air quality and climate policy and expert communities.

Smart Freight Centre’s Global Logistics Emissions Council (GLEC) developed a Black Carbon methodology to offer guidelines for the voluntary measurement and reporting of black carbon emissions (tank-to-wheel) in the logistics sector. In this project, SmartFreight will update their black carbon methodology and develop calculation guidelines for logistics chains, integrating these into the GLEC Framework.

This project aims at providing clear and solid evidence on the co-benefits for acting on air quality and climate, promoting policy measures that consider multiple benefits of different technologies, techniques and behavioural changes.

The project aims to identify where changes in policy have the potential to accelerate private sector action at the intersection of climate and health, specifically on issues of air pollution and associated health challenges. The grantee conducted research and interview to develop a report looking at policy levers of the building/construction phase in the life sciences sector.

Generate localised evidence on the impacts of air pollution on health and climate change and strengthen evidence-base policy making supporting progress on stated national commitments.

A series of case studies to showcase real world examples of win-win clean air policy solutions for climate and health at COP28 (and beyond), to better equip the health sector to serve as effective change agents. It demonstrates different approaches to engage the health sector, at different levels of local data and capacity, to advance scalable clean air solutions.
