This two year project aims to raise awareness of the importance of black carbon mitigation in China’s air quality and climate policy and expert communities.

This project focuses on analysing the health effects of black carbon in Sweden and Denmark. The aim is to strengthen the evidence base on black carbon's health impacts, contributing to an updated WHO systematic review.

This grant aims to improve EU ecodesign regulations for solid fuel appliances used in residential heating, focusing on reducing black carbon and other harmful pollutants. A key outcome includes building a broad stakeholder coalition advocating for stricter Ecodesign standards.

This project seeks to strengthen paediatric associations in South Africa, Nigeria and Nepal to highlight and address severe air pollution risks for babies and children, coordinated by the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH).

To address Cameroon's severe air pollution challenges, this project provided training to journalists and air quality experts to communicate the health risks and opportunities of cleaner air, laying the foundation for a National Clean Air for Health Communications Strategy.

By engaging respiratory healthcare professionals and patient advocates, this project aims to raise awareness of air pollution’s impact on lung health and mobilise support for a life-course approach to lung disease prevention.

This project supported journalists to develop and deliver a practical training module and toolkit for health researchers to support engagement with media, including tips on media messaging and how to convey complex air pollution data in a compelling way.

This projects replicates the successful 2023 International Microsensors Challenge by extending to new geographies (Ghana and India) while maintaining sensor evaluations in France.

This project will produce the world's first global dataset on emissions sources—including PM (with possible black and organic carbon speciation), SOx, NOx, NMVOCs, CO, and NH3— empowering corporations, cities, and governments to track and reduce emissions.

This project will develop a data management system that ‘puts compelling air quality data in the right hands,' creating a standardised, scalable solution for tracking air pollution.
