Clean Air Hub – London Climate Action Week 2026

At London Climate Action Week 2026, Clean Air Fund’s inaugural Clean Air Hub will convene the people and ideas shaping the future of clean air action.

24 June, 9:00 – 17:00

Buffini Chao Deck, 3rd Floor, National Theatre, South Bank, SE1 9PX

In the heart of London — a city at the forefront of tackling air pollution — we’re bringing together climate, health, and finance leaders to spotlight the latest evidence, explore what’s working and where momentum is building, and what it will take next to make clean air a reality for everyone, everywhere.

The Hub will take place on 24 June, with a day-long programme of curated conversations, practical sessions and cultural activations at the National Theatre.

What to expect at the Clean Air Hub

Our full-day programme highlights how to move from evidence to action on clean air, structured around key thematic tracks:

Global solutions for our shared air | 9:00 – 12:45

Climate, clean air and health – the economic case for action

09:30 – 10:30 | Keynote and panel

Reducing air pollution and climate pollutants represents one of the most immediate opportunities to protect human health while advancing climate goals and driving economic growth. Join Jane Burston OBE, Founder and CEO of Clean Air Fund, Martina Otto, Head of Secretariat at the Climate and Clean Air Coalition, and more to explore how climate, air quality and health priorities can be advanced together through practical implementation, investment, and international cooperation. The discussion will draw attention to the health and economic co-benefits of the UK’s climate policies, as demonstrated in new analysis from the Clean Air Fund and CBI Economics, and build momentum ahead of the launch of the CCAC-UNEP Global Economic Assessment of Climate and Clean Air in July 2026, which will further highlight the significant economic and health returns from rapid action to reduce air pollution and super pollutants.

Financing: making air quality and super pollutants visible in climate finance

10:35 – 11:30 | Panel

Air pollution and super pollutants are major yet underfunded drivers of adverse health outcomes, economic loss, and climate change. Join leading experts, including Valerie Hickey, Director of Environment at the World Bank Group, Jane Burston OBE, Founder and CEO of Clean Air Fund, and others, for a panel discussion moderated by climate finance expert David McCauley to unpack barriers to air quality finance, showcase practical solutions, and identify opportunities to scale investment through climate and development finance systems.

Supercharge your sustainability goals with clean air

11:45 – 12:45 | Panel

As expectations from investors, benchmarks and reporting frameworks evolve, air quality is becoming an increasingly material component of corporate sustainability performance. Join Catherine Howarth, CEO of ShareAction, Robin Hodess, CEO of GRI, and more, to explore how air pollution is shaping investor expectations, what leading frameworks (including WBA and GRI) expect from companies, how peers are acting on air pollution, and how to strengthen your organisation’s sustainability strategy.

Community clean air action | 13:00 – 14:30

Parent & love-led creative campaigning for city-level change

13:00 – 13:45 | Panel
