Including support enabling attendance from senior government representatives, researchers and campaigners from the Global South and for WHO to synthesise the latest evidence of health impacts of air pollution and benefits of air quality solutions.

This Breathe Cities project aims to assess the impact of respiratory-related diseases and morbidities from air pollution over the past decade in Accra, and explore policy interventions to address it.

This project seeks to strengthen paediatric associations in South Africa, Nigeria and Nepal to highlight and address severe air pollution risks for babies and children, coordinated by the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH).

To address Cameroon's severe air pollution challenges, this project provided training to journalists and air quality experts to communicate the health risks and opportunities of cleaner air, laying the foundation for a National Clean Air for Health Communications Strategy.

By engaging respiratory healthcare professionals and patient advocates, this project aims to raise awareness of air pollution’s impact on lung health and mobilise support for a life-course approach to lung disease prevention.

This project supported journalists to develop and deliver a practical training module and toolkit for health researchers to support engagement with media, including tips on media messaging and how to convey complex air pollution data in a compelling way.

Lungs Europe will equip incoming MEPs with a solid understanding of the negative health outcomes attributed to air pollution, and encourage good environmental health policies during their five-year mandates.

The project engages networks of current and future health professionals to talk about the health impacts of air pollution, to prevent illness among vulnernable populations.
