This project will bridge evidence gaps on the health impacts of air pollution and help partners to communicate their findings to media, public and decision-makers more effectively. This project would create a practical, tangible toolkit, in the form of a dedicated training module to develop air pollution-specific skills in science-communication and media messaging, anchored in proven communications tactics, but specific to air pollution themes and its particular challenges.

To ensure that credible evidence on the impacts of air pollution on people’s health and on effective solutions is better communicated and understood at a local and global level. This project will help to ensure that data is delivered to decision makers in a way that informs and drives ambitious action towards cleaner air.

This project will deploy a network of air quality sensors in Kintampo. It will analyse the air quality data by drawing on data from a birth cohort study to estimate the effects of ambient air pollution on early life indicators of non communicable disease risk.

To build understanding and trust in the scientific evidence on air pollution and health, empowering and working with a committed local network of scientists and physicians to produce scientific assessments and to serve as trusted spokespeople to the public, NGOs and the government

This project will promote clean air in global health discussions, raise awareness among diverse stakeholders, and enhance the impact of the climate change and health agenda.

The objective of the project is to have the EU fully align with the new WHO AQ guidelines in the revised Ambient Air Quality Directives

Doctors are engaged on the health impacts of air pollution by joining a Doctors' Network for Clean Air and become spokespeople both with patients, the wider public and decision makers.

Mobilising and strengthening the scientific community in Southeast Europe, reviewing available evidence on health impacts and making it more accessible.
